Ted Bundy Victims

Ted Bundy Victims
He was a smooth talked, slick, a master in the art of manipulating the emotions of others, and a quite clever man, the kind of man who could convince people to let their guards down. People could not believe that the friendly man in front of them is capable of committing heinous acts. The following has become one of the most gruesome and horrid true-crime stories to date. It is not about one man but about the countless number of people he made to pay the price for his wrong doing.
I chose the poem “Father, Son and Holy Ghost” by Judy Brown to comprehend the pain that the victims of Ted Bundy have to endure.
The Ted Bundy Victims refer to many of the young women who fell victim to Bundy’s barbaric acts in the years 1974 – 1978. This was passed on to many other women, sisters, daughters and friends particularly the students. They seemed to have bright futures ahead of them, but they were lost before they were even able to fully live them out. This is because unlike the statistical and anonymous approach taken by most law enforcement bodies whereby victims are just numbers and names on a report, the Ted Bundy victims were real people with families and friends who treasured them.
Specifically, most of the Ted Bundy Victims went with him because he did not appear dangerous at all. For instance, he would role play that he needs an aid like fake a broken arm or perhaps, asking for directions. He wanted to give people acceptance and trust and in return most of them stabbed him in the back. This make him even more dangerous because he could easily be invisible, for want of a better word, and blend into his surroundings.” It was this trickery that made him continue committing the crime for several years.
In remembering the Ted Bundy Victims, it is important not to lose sight of the fact that these were people and had lives too. This is the reason why we study this case up to date. Their stories empower us to be cautious, to listen to our gut feelings, and never to turn a blind eye to warning signs. All of them were loved by somebody and deserved to live, but every victim has passed on and their memories are being told here.
The Story of Ted Bundy Victims is a good example to support this statement, as nobody would expect such a friendly person to become a killer. Maybe their story should be a beacon that will help us increase awareness of such occurrences and prevent them in the future.
